Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LeftLane and its optional passes. In plain English: LeftLane is a practice tool, not real driving instruction; passes are one-time, time-boxed purchases with a 7-day refund; payments are handled by Creem as our Merchant of Record. Using LeftLane means you accept these terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

Last updated: July 18, 2026.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using LeftLane (the "Service") — the website at leftlane.online, the browser-based simulator, and any paid pass — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you buy a pass, you also agree to the terms of our payment provider, Creem (see section 5).

2. What LeftLane provides

LeftLane is a browser-based practice tool for the feel of driving on the left side of the road. A free tier of ten scenarios is available to everyone with no account. An optional paid pass unlocks the full set of thirty scenarios for a fixed number of days. LeftLane is a practice aid only — see our Disclaimer for what it is and is not.

3. Passes and license keys

  • Passes are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Nothing renews automatically, and no card is kept on file for future charges.
  • Each pass grants full access for a fixed period — currently 3, 7, or 20 days — that begins at the time of purchase.
  • After purchase you receive a license key by email. You enter that key in the simulator to unlock the full set of scenarios. There is no account, username, or password.
  • A single key may be activated on up to two devices. Keys are for your personal use and may not be sold, sublicensed, or shared publicly.
  • When a pass expires, access to the paid scenarios ends and the free ten remain available. You may purchase another pass at any time.

4. Prices

Prices are shown on the pricing section of our website in US dollars. Your local currency and any applicable tax are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to you is the one displayed at the moment of your purchase.

5. Payments and Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), which acts as our Merchant of Record and the seller of record for every pass. This means Creem handles the checkout, billing, payment methods, sales tax and VAT where applicable, and your purchase receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's own terms and privacy policy, presented at checkout. LeftLane never sees or stores your full card details.

6. Refunds

We offer a 7-day, no-questions refund on any pass. To request one, email hello@leftlane.online from the address you used at checkout, within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are issued through Creem to your original payment method.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass the paywall, the license check, or the two-device limit;
  • resell, redistribute, or publicly share a license key beyond your own personal use;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
  • use the Service to break any law, or in any way that disrupts, overloads, or harms the Service or other users.

8. Intellectual property

LeftLane, including its scenarios, coaching, text, graphics, and software, is owned by the operator of LeftLane and protected by intellectual-property law. A pass grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access the Service for the duration of the pass. It does not transfer ownership of any part of the Service to you.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind. Our Disclaimer forms part of these terms and explains this in full. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of LeftLane will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms; the current version is the one published on this page, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects an active pass, we will honor the access you already paid for.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any clause is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remaining clauses stay in effect.

12. Contact

LeftLane is operated by the LeftLane Founder, an independent developer. For any question about these terms, your pass, or a refund, write to hello@leftlane.online.
